Other than going in and reporting the item to Ebay and then filling out forms for all "internet piracy organizations" like the bsa, I seriously do not think Ebay is even attempting to look into it. This is amazing, given that we had a listing taken down because we were not including the COA for MS Windows on a laptop that had no HDD and didn't include a OS whatsoever. and Ebay, however Ebay continues to allow both sellers to sell their counterfeit software and have done nothing to remove their listings. Reported both counterfeiters to Adobe, BSA, MS, etc.

By the way you can call Adobe and confirm that the SN is either fake.īy shipping these over state lines they are commiting some serious felonies and face up to $150k in fines per license plus jail time. Having same issue trying to buy a legit copy of Adobe Master Collection - purchased 2 computers which according to the sellers had "authentic software installed" and "have all COA's as required by the Developer" only to recieve a piece of paper with a typed serial number, no coa, etc. Anyone who buys legitimate software would spot this as fake. Only me and one other recent buyer gave him bad feedback for selling fakes. Most buyers don't complain because the software works and it is cheap. He sells it at less than half the retail price (who can do that unless they costs are nearly $0?). He sells it as only a CD without the retail box (who does that except someone who is printing their own discs?) 3. He has sold over 500 copies, so appears to have an unlimited supply (only someone printing the disc would have such a large supply) 2.

It's obvious the seller is a major counterfeiter of this software: 1.

I've also used the eBay link "Report this item" on the sellers items to bring eBay's attention to this seller. I even spoke with an eBay employee who said they would look into stopping the seller from selling pirated software. I reported the fake software to eBay by using the Resolution Center when the seller was uncooperative about the return.

However, eBay has done nothing to stop the seller. The seller refunded my money after I returned the software.
